Bio

Tom Bories is a Belgian photographer whose practice moves between conceptual and documentary photography. His work explores how place, light, darkness and time can change the way we experience the world around us. He is particularly interested in landscapes and environments that carry a sense of mystery, history or solitude. His work develops through careful observation and taking time with a place, creating images that leave room for personal interpretation and invite the viewer to look beyond what is immediately visible. Bories is based in Belgium and currently studies photography as an adult student at the Art Academy in Bruges.
